I suppose this means the NYT will not go under in 2012. So? It'll go under in 2013.
ReplyDeleteNo one is doing anything for the economy. Either here (in Europe) or in the United States. Therefore, the economy will continue to stagnate. At the moment, folks are retreating, because of the poor outlook in Europe, to the dollar. This means the dollar is up, and makes Europe a bit more affordable so long as that lasts.
But the U.S. economy? An uptick? Because a bunch of people got hired for the Christmas season? What has Leonhardt been smoking?
