Gregg's out; good riddance

First, Judd Gregg (R-NH) reaches out to Obama and offers himself for Commerce after Richardson bows out. He promises support for administration, and the Obama people bend over backwards to accommodate him, working out a deal with NH Gov. Lynch, a Democrat, to appoint a Republican staffer to replace Gregg, keeping the Republicans at 41, just enough to prevent cloture.

Now the jerk cites differences with the Adminstration and backs out.

I said and continue to say he was a poor choice to begin with and the deal to keep the Senate seat Republican made no sense whatsoever. To which I now add, "Good Riddance, and choose a Democrat this time."
