Although the original link, a video about how Protaxites, which was a giant plantlike thing up to 8m tall that grew in various parts of our planet more than 100 million years before the dinosaurs, and which apparently represents a clade of the biosphere that evolved completely independently from eukaryotic single celled organisms into what at the time was by far the largest terrestrial organism, and which was apparently not photosynthetic... is pretty interesting, at least to me.
