One thing I can do... and keep doing

One thing I've decided to do, for what it may be worth (which may be not much, but I feel everyone needs to do something). I am going to send actual physical letters to Congress people and Senators of both parties. Saying, in simple, short terms, that Trump is violating the law and trashing his oath of office, objectively, factually, not just ideologically, and that he must be impeached, convicted, and removed from office. Even if the votes aren't there, even if the invertebrate leadership of the House won't allow a vote, the articles need to be written, published and talked about, as a tip top priority. Every day. This is how change occurs. Gradually, as a result of slowly building momentum. So I'm buying a bunch of stamps and printer ink and I'm gonna make this a regular activity. I want to believe that an avalanche of demands will eventually result in the collapse of the inertia. Even some Republicans (not that many, but some, and it will be more after the 26 elections (assuming they happen)... are alarmed by the sheer lack of respect for the law and the black letter words of the Constitution.They fear Trump, but that doesn't mean they don't also fear and loathe the way he's destroying the very institutions of our government.  

Sometimes I'll throw in a demand that they revoke the president's arbitrary power to impose tariffs too. That was never a good idea and right now it's causing untold damage to the US and world economies. I have no illusions that they will do this anytime soon, but, again, momentum.
