Caroline Kennedy overplayed hand?

See this from NYT. Seems Caroline Kennedy may have overplayed her hand a little. It'll be interesting to see what transpires.

    I didn't read the whole Times article. I didn't have to.

    Of course, Kennedy is being thrown to the wolves by Paterson's insistence that he's neutral and he isn't going to appoint anyone until after Clinton is confirmed by the Senate. Because she IS the inevitable choice, regardless of whether the press makes major gaffes out of every wrinkle of her nose or not. And the rest of the folks who are interested in the job are enjoying every minute of her discomfort.

    Politics remains a very nasty business, and we live in a very nasty world still.
