William Morris: News from Nowhere
At a friend's recommendation, I've been reading News from Nowhere (1890) by the artist, printer, and writer William Morris. An explicitly socialist utopian novel, it's no masterpiece, but it has its charms. Morris seems delightfully naive by today's sensibilities, but of course, we have the hideous events of the 20th century to reflect upon.
